Charities
Senior PHAB Club, Selby
This is the band's chosen charity and they perform for free at an annual fundraising concert. Proceeds from the concert go towards providing a minibus and driver to transport a group of physically handicapped and able bodied adults.
Children of Magila, Tanzania
On 4th July 2001 the band were asked to perform a concert on behalf of Dr Stanford, whose daughter was born in Magila. All funds raised from the concert at Barlby High School went towards musical instruments. These instruments were flown out (with medical supplies) to the children of Magila in Tanzania.

Selby Abbey
The Foot-Tappers have a close tie to Selby Abbey and continue to support fund-raising efforts to help restore the abbey. The band performs annually at both Spring and Autumn fairs. Also, the abbey plays host to a Grand Concert performed by the Foot-Tappers every December. The proceeds from these concerts are shared between the band and the abbey. To date, the band has helped raise approximately £10,000 for the abbey.
